Kids are too fragile

Well, its been 1 years (on 9/11)  since Jax had his first knee surgery -  he had a small tear in his meniscus and he had some OCD bone lesion around his knee cap.  He did physical therapy and was able to play indoor soccer in the winter.  He then played about half of his spring season of soccer and had to get surgery again.  He was sitting on the couch at Gma and Gpas house when he started to cry saying his knee hurt.  Me being the understanding and patient person i am told him he was fine and to get up.  Three days later (he still could not straighten his leg) I finally took him back to the doc.  The doc said he needed surgery ASAP - he thought the OCD had grown back (even though it USUALLY does not).  We got him into surgery and the doc said it would take about an hour or less.  An hour and a half later they finally came out and got us - no OCD growth, his meniscus and just fallen off his bone and was floating around in him knee area.  We were told that was just a fluke and should never happen again - he should probably build mussel around all his ligament just to be sure that they are safe (he is very bendy lol).  He finished his physical therapy about a month ago and can start playing sports at the end of the month (his doc. says).
Kadrey was on the High School soccer team - on the second to last game she was kicked in the ankle and unable to continue to play so we took her to the foot doc. Her ligament was torn and the tendon that holds it in place stretched out (or the other way around I really don't remember haha). She had surgery last month and starts physical therapy next week.  She should hopefully be able to return to playing soccer in March or April - and this all happened on the day Jax was released to play sports again..... somedays!!!!
