Jaxon in the pond

Mother of the year here lol.
While at the pond on Monday Jaxon and his cousin went off and were riding their RipStiks around the trail - silly me I thought that Jaxon was old enough to not be supervised at all times - they decided (Jaxon decided) that he should ride his RipStik on one of those look off docks because the paved road was too bumpy(?) and fell and even though he stayed on the bridge thing his RipStik went right into the water.  Cousin came and told me that Jaxon fell and Stik  was in the water so I assumed that it just fell in the edge and was so big deal -WRONG-

So me and his Aunt had sticks and we were feeling in the water for it and when I found it I made Jaxon jump in and get it - he was crying before he went in asking why know one else had to get in and I nicely (or meanly) told him that none of them made the stupid choice to ride on the bridge so it was his fault and no one else had to fix it.  He said he would just ask Santa for one again next year - I told him that Santa would not get him another one because he made such unwise choices. The water was nasty and he really was upset that he had to get into water that ducks and fish pooped in and it was murky and sludgy but he did it and we have his RipStik back yay.

Beaus Pond

We went to Beaus pond on Memorial day with Cousins and an Aunt and Grandma Howell and Grandpa Howell we had a lot of fun.  We saw turtles and ducks and enjoyed being in the sun - which is gone for a day or two because now it is raining like crazy.

N.O.V.A. graduation and State poster!

Kadrey had her NOVA graduation last week (if you are unsure of NOVA like me I guess it is the new DARE - however as far as I know that program is still in existence.)  So proud of her- also at the awards program she got top athlete of 5th grade:)

Kadrey had her state poster due it was her final project.  She picked Massachusetts.  She had weeks and weeks to work on it but she waited until the final weekend before it was due to work on it.  Grandpa and her looked up all of the stuff (mostly Grandpa) and Aunt Kali cut all the pictures to fit on the board (while Kadrey was at her soccer game) and then she and Kali and I glue it all on Sunday.  I wrote all the info in pencil and then Dree went over it all in marker - then Kali and Grandma made it all fancy with glitter and stars and Boston on the top. Grandma and I added runners on the top  (which you cant really see in the pictures but the are so cute).  Kadrey was able to turn the poster in on time and got 100%.

update on soccer

No pictures today it rained and rained but they ended in a tie 2-2 Jaxon scored both of the goals for our team!   GO OUTLAWS!

Kids and soccer

So Jax has a game tonight and I will take pictures of that but for now I have none and I will ask other parents if they have any -
Jax played on two teams this year AYSO and a comp team (academy level), AYSO he rocked every game getting at least four goals usually 5 or 6.  Comp was harder but after I told him that these teams where not any better then the AYSO ones he was beating he played harder on they finally won a game.:)

Kadrey tore it up this year.  She is back on the boys team and was awesome.  She got slapped in the face by  a player on the other team (when they go to give 5 at the end instead of giving her 5 he smacked her, and no card was given or anything!  JERK!)   but we told Kadrey it was because she was so much better than he was and he wanted to prove that he was tough (yeah, that kid will probably end up in jail a few time for domestic violence) - I email the pres. of the league but heard nothing back so I hope when he is 17 he doesn't kill someone like that kid in the news did, because behavior like his goes unpunished.  If I was the parent of a kid who did something like that I think I would suspend him and not wait for the league to do it. None the less she was awesome - she had to endure that and lots of other mean things being said to her but she held her head high and kick some butt and they finally figured out to never leave her opened and she was usually doubled teamed:)  She was the leading scorer of her division (with all boys) and they won most all of their games - I think we lost once but never to the slap team (they were the worst team in the division haha. )
The second place scorer (also on our team) was out half the season with a broken knee.
