Church today!

Oh, the funniest thing happened at church today.
First I need to tell you the back story...  Dan almost never goes to church with us, he is usually at work or sleeping after working lots of hours the days before.  He decided to go with us today and we were all so excited:)  For those that do not know we live with my parents and so we go to church with them. My sister is also a rare attender of church but today she also decided to go.

During the sacarment while everyone is being reverent the guy that stands at the door (to make sure it stays closed, or whatever he does) totally let it go (FARTED) so loud and to make it worse Kashlynn yells out EWWW! FARTED! Everyone around us had heard to fart and also heard Kashy so everyone was laughing uncontrollably but trying not to laugh.  I am sure the front of the building was wondering what was wrong with the people in the back lol.  Fun times

Its me...finally...

i know I know, its been far too long..... so much has been going on yet not anything too interesting.  I think I will just show some pictures with a few little comments about some of them:)

Memorial day.

The day kind of snuck up on me this year the kids had just gotten out of school and my school that I work at still had the rest of the week before it was finished the big kids also had soccer tryouts that week and life just gets crazy ha ha.

We did manage to go see Kourtney that day. well, Jax Kashy and I did:)  I forgot to get flowers but we got out there.  It was so pretty with the flowers all over the cemetery, it was busy too.  Sad to see all the people with loved ones gone on but awesome to see they are still loved and remembered.

We love our Kourtney girl!  We miss her but we are very grateful she chose our family to be with.

12 YEARS OLD:)

Can you believe that a couple of weeks ago Kadrey turned 12.  She was just a baby and all of the sudden bam... she is a tween.  I used to say that there was no way that she could have more attitude then she already had but on the morning of her bday she woke up with 40x the amount she was already giving me.  On her birthday she had a soccer game (tournament - they didn't place in it) and her elementary school graduation and also her first young women's activity all starting at seven so she had to choose which event to go too ... she chose soccer.

She is starting Jr High in the fall and is right now at Girls Camp.... I am still unsure how I feel about that but she was super excited to get to go and "have a break" (as she puts it) from all of us.

 She is an awesome big sister and so wonderful, her laugh is contagious and she is always willing to help out.  We are so lucky that she is in our family.  We love Kadrey lots and lots.

Jaxons haircut.

I know, I know -We have let Jax grow out his hair before and it ended in disaster before it was finished haha.  But we decided to try again - it was more successful this time but still not my favorite look on him.  We were at Wal-mart one day and Jaxon says to me "I think I should get my hair cut!"  We were at McDonald's (in walmart) and I just made a bee line to the hair cutting place inside of there and set him an appointment before minds had time to change.  We are pleased with the results (and not spending time every morning to defuse or straighten it).

so I don't really love the skinny faux hawk thing but we now have it worked out.

Spring Break!!!!!!!!!!

It was only a 4 day weekend and the big kids had theirs like 2 weeks ago but I was so excited no work. So it all started on Saturday, we went to Lagoon and Kashy seemed so hot but we figured it was from the sun and she was just getting over heated - Dan and I found a shady spot and had her lay down on the grass (on a blanket)  while the older kids ran around with some friends they ran into - yay.  After we got home and she was still burning up *by this point she was really burning up* and would not eat dinner I decide to run to the store and get her some Tylenol (plus the Easter bunny needed a few more things). She would not sleep that night and had a very high fever the next day (that the medicine would only knock down for an hour or so) and she would not eat.  So on Monday morning I took her to the doctors - 3.5 hours later (after blood samples and urine samples) they could not find a cause but her white blood cell count was very high (30) so they gave her a "shotgun" antibiotic shot and told me to bring her in the next day to do it all again:)  but we were promised that we would not be there as long on Tuesday. So the next day I took her in and her count was down to 20 ( I think 6 is normal, I think) and they had to give her the shot again and then we have to wait for like 20 min to make sure she does not have a reaction, well she did - a rash all over her chest and neck, and she was very agitated and would not let anyone touch her expect mama (me) and she had to have her blanket around her up to her neck and if it wasn't she got really mad.  So they gave us benadryl and Tylenol and just told us to bring her back if it got worse but it did not, she slept for like 5 hours that day and has only had a slight fever since then.  They gave us a day to see how she is doing but we have to take her back tomorrow to make sure the infection is almost gone - but how weird is that.  She was fine and then suddenly she had a nasty bacterial infection (that is what the doc called it).  That is how is spent my spring break ugh.

My sister found this  app on her phone and showed me how to get it on to mine - I do not have any pictures of  Kourtney on my phone and can not get the app on my computer (I mean I am sure there is something very similar to this or the same one but I can not do it) - anyway, I made collages of everyone else.  They are so cute.

I'M BACK!!!!!!!

Sorry, I know it has been so long - but really nothing to exciting has been going on but i do want to show a few pictures of things we have been doing so here they are....

Kashy is getting so big

At Christmas time the big kids where in the ward talent show they did this little skit and Jaxon was Rudolph - they did backflips and cartwheels and things like that it was so cute and funny.  We went to Christmas Village and the crazy kids decided to play at the park.

On our fake spring day in February we went to a park - Dan got that mini soccer net for Christmas and has been dying to try it out.  The kids has so much fun kicking the ball and playing.  Kashy just sat and waited for  the big kids to be done playing soccer so they could take her on a slide.                         

The big kids had spirit week at their school and dressed up like rockstars (Kali did most of the work for it) They turned out so cute and it  was a lot of fun (we used Kool-aid to dye hair).  

They also had college day so they each got their tee shirt of the college they picked and then Grandma painted the school symball on their cheek.

My cousin (who I have not seen for like 15 years) and her husband where in town because he owns and drives that white and blue monster truck so we got to go the the ESA in Salt Lake and watch the show.  We had a lot of fun it was really loud though lol.
