Terrace Days - that is still only one day:)

This year at Terrace Days we where not in any parades.  We did still go watch it (the kids begged - and won.)

 There was face painting (that Kadrey got because her friends grandma paid for it :)  and fireworks and bouncy houses.  It was fun.  This is were Jaxon had his Championship game so we were kinda busy with that most of the night.

This is the sunset at the park at the almost end of the night and then they had some awesome fireworks.

Baseball/Softball season

The season ended for the kids - last Saturday was the Championship game for Jaxon, his team won the Championship (yay!!!!!!) He was still in Coach - Pitch, so they are still trying out all the positions and the coach pitches them the ball. So he has yet to find is position in b-ball but he sure does love it - and we love watching him play.

 Kadreys team made it to the second game of the finals (last year they did not make it that far - they lost every game they played).   She is in kid pitch this year and even though her team struggles she is amazing.  She was the only pitcher on her team and she was awesome at it.  Even with an awesome pitcher if your teammates can't catch or throw it makes it hard for your team to win.  -  Still so fun to watch.

summer games!

We went to summer games in Ceder City last weekend.  It was a blast.  We ended up leaving a day early because Kadreys (soccer) team did not make it to the finals but we still had so much fun (and her team was only like 4 points shy of making it).

It was very hot there.  So very hot.  Lucky for us the ghetto hotel we stayed at had a swimming pool which the kids loved.  No shade anywhere though and I got really sunburned - probably the worst I have ever been. The drive was really long too - and it seemed longer on the way home then it was to get there:)

The kids and I have sunglasses now.  Dans broke the other day after Jaxon stepped on them:)   We are awesome in them:)  I always just get the cheapest ones because I always lose or break them.




-Mine broke like the next day:(  So sad.

Lagoon!

 We got season passes for Lagoon this year!  We took the kids last weekend  - after we got back from camping.  It was so much fun. I don't get to ride any of the rides (except the train)  but I have fun watching them have fun:)

  The nice thing about the passes is that if you only go for a couple of hours like once a week then you feel like you got your moneys worth and you don't have to stay the whole day (so nice).

Last week we got to go camping with my family.  Well, I guess its called camping but we were in a lodge not tents and it had a kitchen and bathrooms but still we were camping.  It was a lot of fun.
