Our finished basement?

So we got a bill today and a letter in the mail, telling us at all the work in out basement is done. It took forever (since the mid of October) but the bathroom door is not on, the old sink is still in the tub, and the walls in the bathroom need a paint job. Other then that it looks great and I am way excited about it.

The crib

It took like the whole day and we had to do a lot of rearranging but baby is finally out of her bassinet and into her crib. Dan put it together and we are way excited about it:) She is growing up so fast.

She is getting so big!

Baby is almost 4 months (ok she is 3.5 months) she is getting so big I cant believe it. It makes me kinda sad but it is so much fun too. Her brother and sister love to hold her and play with her.

Jaxons shoes.

Jaxon got a pair of shoes for Christmas - shoes are not cheap and he is so rough on them. He got a pair for school (so 4 months ago) and they are already ruined like to the point of no return, they had to go into the garbage.

He got his shoes and then had to take the dogs out and then he spent the next half hour drying his brand new shoes. See rough on them:) and a mad mom (not the greatest way to spend Christmas morning:)

He decided that having two blow dryers would make it dry faster.

Christmas time!

So I am behind..... sorry! We had a fun Christmas this year, less gifts (happens as kids get older) but fun still. :) They did not get everything they asked for (seriously, their list were a little ridicules.) But Santa made sure that they each got one gift from the list and we got them some clothes (not a favorite at our house but a most ).

Kadrey got an ipod (she has been asking for years, we finally felt she was old enough).

Jaxon got video games of course (it is his favorite pass time) and a ripstik that he keeps falling off of.

Kashlynn got rattles and a doll (she was the easiest and lest expensive to get for:)

Our basement.

So awhile ago we had some problems with our basement and flooding. But we got the hot water heater fixed and now the flooding has stopped...... home owners insurance is fixing all the damage. Unfurtionitly for me Jaxons room is the only room we have remodeled since living here (forever) and that is the room that got damaged - and the bathroom down here (Dan also retiled that floor a few years ago, it got retiled again last week lol.) They told us it would only take a week or so to repair, that was like five weeks ago ugh. It kinda sucks, but I like the tile we chose.
