creepy crawly, yuck! and cupcake wars

Jaxon had cupcake wars one day at his practice.  Whoever could get the other kid out of the "circle"  got a cupcake.  He won like 11 of them.   (now that is a lot of cupcakes)

Crazy Hair Day!

The kids had crazy hair day at their school last week - they were so excited about it and they loved it.  Silly kids......

going shorter

 A few days after school started the kids got hair cuts (from J.C. Penny's).  Jogee just got a trim around his ears and neck - he is trying to grow his hair out lol!  Kadrey had a much more drastic hair cut-

She wanted it shorter but mean mom said NO - that much hair to cut off was enough:)  She loves having it shorter - and really it is easier to do in the morning (not so easy for soccer when I am trying to pull it up haha)

The fair

Last month we took the kids to the Weber County Fair.  It was so hot, we only stayed for a bit.  The kids had a fun time with cousins and just being there.

  We watched duck races (and the old guy was singing  along with the radio, a hip hop song that surprised us that he knew lol and he was dancing with only his hands haha), we went to the petting zoo (that was really stinky),  the kids played a pitching game (each won twice and lost once - they are good little pitchers),  Also they got their faces painted.

Jaxon decided to get baptised and his big day was this last Saturday (Sept. 1).  I am so proud of him - his Dad baptised him and then his Grandpa confirmed him.  He said that getting baptised was a lot of fun:)  He is growing up so fast and I am so proud of him. His cousin also got baptised that day.  We had a little BBQ  get-together thing after wards.  Even though it has been so hot lately it decided to rain that day, no in between weather for us - either unbearably hot or chilly:)

Back to School

Its that time already - the summer went by so fast.  I can not believe that I have a 5th grader and 3rd grader.  They are growing up so fast.  They are great kids and are very excited to be back in school ( I just hope the excitment last longer then a week - or day)

GOLD!

Kadrey played in a tournament for soccer this last weekend and her team won gold!  They came in 1st place in the U-11 girls category- yay!!!!!!!

Last year she played for her boys team and they won silver - the morning of her final game she told me "mom, I already have silver now I need gold - not another silver one"  lol.   She is so funny and determined.

Her coach told the team that if someone could score in the first 5 min the whole team would get shakes - she scored in 4 min and 56 sec.  and got her whole team a treat:)
